He’s the creator and host of How Did They Fix That?, an adventure engineering series now in its fourth season on Paramount+ and Smithsonian Channel. The series follows Mike on mission-based journeys alongside the crews and experts who keep the world’s most complex machines running. Whether flying with the U.S. Air Force, diving to the ocean floor, or climbing deep into remote infrastructure, Mike brings viewers inside the fix, spotlighting the ingenuity, resilience, and human spirit behind the technology. His work spans science, technology, natural history, archaeology, exploration, and crime, always marked by strong storytelling, rare access, and cinematic production values.
